Try making it yourself and you’ll find that it’s simpler than you think, yet still a heartwarming meal
1. Squid game bento, what ingredients do you need?
In the drama, Sung Ki-hoon’s (Lee Jung-jae) lunchbox is relatively simple in terms of ingredients
However, small differences can make a difference in taste, so you should pay attention to the recipe.
• White rice : Prepare warm, freshly cooked rice
• Fried egg : It should be cooked soft-boiled so that it is the most tender when eaten with rice
• Pink sausage pancake : coated in egg wash for a more savoury flavour.
• Kongjaban : Black beans cooked with soy sauce and sugar are an essential side dish that balances sweet and salty.

2. Squid game bento, how to make it like this

If you follow a few points, you can easily make it.
Make the been paste
(1) Wash the black beans and soak them in water for at least 3 hours.
(2) Bring the water and soaked beans to a boil in a saucepan, then add the soy sauce and sugar and cook over medium heat.
(3) When the water is reduced, add the oligosaccharide and sesame seeds to finish.
Make stir-fried anchovies
(1) Fry the dry anchovies without oil to remove the fishy flavour.

• Fry the eggs soft-boiled : Moist soft-boiled eggs work better with rice.
• Add milk to the egg wash for sausage : Adding milk to the egg wash makes the sausages more tender and savoury.
• Use perilla oil in stir-fried kimchi : Adding perilla oil to stir-fried kimchi gives is a richer flavour.
